So I played a couple games of Warhammer Warbands with the Brockshow when he was last here. A rematch of the Skaven vs Empire, and then a Dwarfs vs Ogres battle. Empire vs Skaven was a blast. I really dig playing Skaven, especially now that I can compare them to something like Dwarfs. I just really didn't enjoy that game. Maybe it was because it was late at night when we played. Maybe it was because it was against Ogres. Or maybe Dwarfs do just suck. Who knows. All I do know is that I'm kinda resenting purchasing an army.
Here are some different warbands I would rather do than Dwarfs right now:
Slaanesh Beasts of Chaos - Minotaur heavy, perhaps?
All calvary Dark Elves - Dark Riders and Cold One Riders, oh my!
Clan Moulder Skaven - Giant rats and Rat Ogres
Ok, at first I was thinking there were more, but maybe that's it for right now. I am pissed at the Dwarfs. But I remember that I used to be pissed at Skaven, and then came back to love them--so who knows what's going on in this brain of mine!?
I know that Dwarfs can be a good tactical army, but I'm really more interested in the coolness factor. I wanted to prove Brock wrong that they were a crappy army, and I think I did that. But they just don't seem like an army for me. Boo.

I say yay for the chaos war band, that would be awsome, plus, there are a million different ways you can go with chaos once you get a taste of them! This could open up all sorts of crazy warband ideas for you, plus I just think chaos is badass. I say sell the dwarfs and go chaos, because I still think they blow major ass! They would not last 4 turns against my mighty empire leigons! And we don't even want to discuss what would happen against the woodelves.........man, why not go with a army that stands a chance?
