State of the Warhammer Union

Just an update on what's going on Warhammer wise:

I finally (took about 3 weeks) received the Dwarfs that I ordered off eBay. I now am waiting for 10 Thunderers and a Gyrocopter to come from a Batertowner. Once I get those, I will assemble a 500 Dwarf warband to kick Brock's ass with. Why? Because he hates Dwarfs, and there is a good chance that he might hurt himself if he loses to them. Either that or he will revert to 8 years ago and throw an ogre against the wall...

I've been active on the army specific forums, getting help on some army lists. I now have a pretty decent Skaven list for my Eshin warband. More than the 26 models I had in my earlier list that got spanked by Brock's Empire. He will feel my wrath this go-around! I even managed to just make an army list using the models I already own, which is pretty impressive for me. The only things I need are 6 Poisoned Wind Globadiers. And I just agreed to a trade with someone on Bartertown that lands me 4 of the suckers. So now I will need two more. If I am able to sell 3 Leman Russ Battle Tanks on Batertown like I'm working on, I will have the funds to purchase the two more Globadiers that I need. I am working hard on sticking to my New Years resolution of not purchasing any more Warhammer items. I can sell stuff I have and use that money to buy stuff, but no "new" money is going to be used for purchasing miniatures.

My big army of Tomb Kings is going to be put on hold for a while, me thinks. I [i]might[/i] attempt to construct a 500 point army, but according to everyone on the Khemri forum, TK suck in games under 1500 points. So I may just stick to the other two armies for warbands, and then go with Tomb Kings for my big'un.

I got a little excited seeing the new Dark Angels stuff coming out. Almost tempted to break my resolution and pre-order the big box. Nope, not gonna happen. I still have an Eldar and Witch Hunter army to make. They aren't enjoying wasting away in storage.

Ok, that's my heads-up for right now.

If I don't get a chance to pick up two more Globadiers by the time Brock get's here, I'm going to just use one more Jezzail in their place. But yeah, with the new list, no more being outnumbered by man-things.
